Hi

Is there an equivalent utility to Rational Rose IDE for Linux?

What is it called?

Does Linux comes with it or do you have to download and install?
Where from?
How much?

Thanks, Mike

According to their website, IBM actually does sell a version
of Rational Rose for Linux. I don't have any knowledge about
how the IDE compares to what is available for Win32.

There are also some free tools for UML modeling, though they are
not widely used by Linux developers. The site http://freshmeat.net
is a handy place to search for Linux software by keyword.

Only IBM Rational Rose has this utility for linux/unix machines. They
have JBuilder, Forte integrate with Rational Rose for linux and
Solaris.
